Catch Up

I know it has been a long time since I wrote last, but I have been busy with school. Well since I just submitted my last assignment (YAY!) I decided that I would catch everyone up on our lives. There really hasn't been that much going on other then school for me and work for Rick. Rick's parents were able to come for Thanksgiving which was a lot of fun. It was the first time that I cooked a Thanksgiving meal. My brother and his wife came over also. Rick's Mom taught me how to make pumpkin rolls. I was so excited, I had never made one before. It wasn't near as difficult as I thought it was going to be, but it was a lot of fun. Well they were here they bought Rick and I a mini Christmas tree. I am so excited. We ended up sticking it up on top of our entertainment center. It looks good I think.

Rick's mom also bought me the three little bears at the bottom of the tree. Aren't they cute?

Other then that there really hasn't been that much that has happened. I will try and do a little better on keeping everyone up to date on how things are going.

Pumpkin painting and carving

My siblings got together and we painted pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. Then today I carved my own pumpkin, I was so excited to carve a pumpkin I haven't carved a pumpkin in a long time. I am very impressed with my self at how it turned out.

This is my pumpkin! It didn't turn out as cute as I hoped, but I like it anyways.

My pumpkin that I carved! It turned out really great. I have never done a pumpkin like this, I have only done faces before, but I really like how it turned out.

Up to Date

Well it is been a while since I have posted anything, but I think I am up to date with everything! Sorry there is so much at one time.

Anniversary

One year has come and gone, YAY! I can't believe that Rick and I have been married for one year already. Our anniversary it's self was on Sunday the 8th, but we didn't really celebrate it until the the 9th. Rick surprised me and took me out to UT lake for a picnic, to play in the water and to watch the sunset. However after being there for about twenty minutes we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes (we forgot bug spray). So we ate, and watched the sunset from the car instead. It was lot of fun, and it was a sweet thought, if only the mosquitoes hadn't been there it would have been perfect.

Days of 47

Melissa was able to get some free tickets to the Days of 47 Rodeo for everyone. There was Melissa, Derrick, Madi (of course), Rick, me, Rebecca and Rebecca's friend Holly that were able to come. We had a lot of fun.

Kings Of Leon

Rick and I were able to get free VIP tickets to the Kings of Leon concert! It was a first for both of us, neither one of us had ever been to a concert. They had two bands preform before the Kings of Leon came out. One was called The Features, the other was called Built to Spill, both are from Nashville, TN. They were actually pretty good. The concert was a lot of fun here are some pics:

By the time that Kings of Leon was supposed to come on it was to dark and we were to far away for me to get a good picture, but this is the best one I got:

House

Here are a few pictures of the house once we got it unpacked. We still have a few things to do in the office and the storage room, so once those rooms are done I will post some more pictures:

Rick and I

Yesterday as I was laying in bed I thought of what the date was and I realized that Rick and I have been married for eleven months, I can't believe it. It doesn't seem like it has been that long, however at the same time it seems like it has been so much longer. I love him, and I am grateful for all of the love and support that he gives me, he is such an amazing men and I can't believe how lucky I am to have met him, and had him in my live. I love you Rick!

New Changes

I am so exited to be moving into a bigger place. It will give us a place that we can grow as a family, and not have to feel like we are so cramped. I really feel like this move will be really good for Rick and I. Everyday for the last few weeks things just keep getting better and better. This will be the last Sunday in our ward here in Provo, then we will start our new ward next week. It will be sad to leave some of my friends here in Provo, especially my VT's but hopefully we will still keep in touch.

Stadium of Fire

Last night Rick and I met up with some of the Baums and sat in a park across from BYU, so that we could see the fire works from the Stadium of Fire. We had a lot of fun. It wasn't to hot or to cold. Eli, was so sweet. Here are some pictures of everybody:

Excited...

YAY!!! Rick and I finally found a place to move into. It is located in Spanish Fork, UT. I am not entirely positive what the square footage is, but I believe it is between 1000-1100.

Hall and Storage

It has three bedrooms (well only one will be a bedroom for now until we have a kid) The other two are going to be an office, and then a storage/craft room.

The living room is smaller than ours is now, but it is the perfect size for us.

The bathroom is quite a bit bigger than ours also, however the reason why is because it is also the laundry room which is great because that means we will have a washer and dryer. It may take a few months to get one, but we will get one eventually.

The place that I love the most the Kitchen!!! It is so much bigger than what ours is now, plus there is a half sized dishwasher! It is even big enough to have our table in the kitchen still have plenty of room.

This is the light that goes over the kitchen table.

The good thing about this apartment is that it will give us a chance to grow as a family and not have to then worry about moving. We plan on living there until we are both done with BYU.

I will post more pictures once we get everything in and set everything up!
